PHYSICAL EDUCATION

PWI believes that physcial education is an important aspect of the development of the young men we serve. Classes in volley ball and basketball are taught not only for the physical exercise, but to teach team work and proper rules and conduct in a competitive environment. Competitions are regularly held among other institutes in the state for interaction and social development. A Summer and Winter AMI Olympics are held each year with all schools participation and is highly anticipated by students and staff.

The Bailey Foundation generously contributed $10,500.00 in 2007 for the construction of an athletic field, consisting of basketball and volleyball courts. The on-campus site is being prepared and construction will soon begin. Any assistance with materials or labor would be greatly appreciated.
