Opportunities exist at Piedmont Wilderness Institute (PWI) for rewarding
careers while making a difference in the lives of young men. The following is
list of positions that are needed at PWI. We are always looking for good men
and women in our service to the youth of
CERTIFIED
TEACHERS
PWI seeks certified teachers in areas of the
five core curriculum to teach a class of 8-10 students during the day.
Small classes enable more quality education
experiences for our students.
ROPES
COURSE INSTRUCTOR
PWI needs instructors for our low and high
ropes course.
The ropes course includes a 63’ climbing
tower to teach students rappelling skills necessary for off campus trips.
Training and certification will be provided
for the right person.
INSTRUCTOR
/ COUNSELORS
PWI seeks instructors for outdoor and
vocational classes for 8-10 students during evening hours weekends.
Experience or education required for subject
matter being taught.
NIGHT
COUNSELORS
Our students are supervised through the night requiring staff from 12:00 midnight to 8:00 a.m.
Part time positions available for the weekends.

All applicants must be of 21 years of age or older.
Must be high school graduate or equivalent (GED).
Criminal and child abuse registry background checks as well as drug test will be required before hiring.
